The Lightning Fund

related research established in 2007. This fund granted over $7000
for research sponsored by Winn Feline Foundation seeking to identify
a genetic mutation causing HCM in Bengals. The study was led by
Dr. Kate Meurs, Washington State University, under the administration
of the WINN Feline Foundation.
